Hi there and welcome to www.biker-babe.org. I'm Sam and this is my website for Biker-Babes the world over to join together and chat about all things bike related. The site began at the end of 2003, with the help of my husband, Dan. It has slowly built up and now we are getting more and more girlie bikers join us all the time.
We have a great time nattering away with each other on the message boards and most of us have made many firm friends too. We also arrange rideouts and try to have big meets organised a couple of times a year, which everyone is welcome to attend. Most of the members are based in and around the UK but we are getting an increasing number of people joining from around the world and it would be fab to hear about Biker Babe meets happening abroad too. The vast majority of peeps on the site are female but we do have a few blokes lingering about the place. A lot of them are related to our members but some of them are just wicked blokes who obviously like to chat with such an amazing group of women! The guys often get referred to as the 'Biker-Babe support crew', a title which I think they secretly quite enjoy.
Alongside the message boards we also have a couple of other sections to check out. There is a 'Piccies' area which now has tons of pictures in of our members, their bikes, our bike meets and various other bits and bobs to have a giggle at. There is even a 'Reader's husbands' section which has a couple of snaps of the 'Support crew' doing some posing in!
You'll also find a 'Links' section, which has a few web addresses in for places that you might find helpful someday, such as other forums and clubs, places to get some motorcycle training and venues for motorbike related activities.
I hope that you have fun perusing our website, maybe enough to become a member yourself. We're a really friendly bunch, so please don't be shy, come on in and say 'Hello'. It's always great to meet new members and get to know them. We have all sorts of people in here from really keen bikers who will ride all year round, some who just enjoy going pillion, to those who like bikes but don't actually ride themselves. Everyone is always keen to offer advice or help to anyone who needs it and we try to provide a few giggles along the way too!
